Supreme Court hears oral arguments in DACA cases
On Tuesday, the U.S. Supreme Court will hear oral arguments in three consolidated cases that will determine whether the administration can end Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), which has provided relief from deportation for more than 800,000 undocumented youth who have lived most of their lives in the United States.
AALDEF was among the 45 civil rights groups that filed an amicus brief in the Supreme Court, challenging the Trump administration’s unlawful attempt to terminate DACA. You can read our amicus brief here.
