“Abused Korean-American Church Worker Wins Earthly Reward”

“A Korean electrician who moved to America to start a new life only to be paid a pittance working long hours as a church janitor has won 32,000 dollars in overtime pay, his lawyers said Tuesday.

Despite working up to 30 hours overtime a week and regularly putting in 12-hour days, the man was at first paid only 375 dollars a week—far below New York’s minimum wage, the Asian American Legal Defense and Education Fund said…”
