On Thursday, April 27, 2017, at 7 pm, AALDEF is hosting a special benefit performance of Pacific Overtures, starring George Takei in the Classic Stage Company‘s revival of Stephen Sondheim and John Weidman’s musical. George will join us for a talkback after the performance.

Pacific Overtures tells the tale of a samurai and a fisherman who are caught up in the Westernization of Japan. The show stars George Takei, recipient of AALDEF’s 1992 Justice in Action award and a beloved actor (“Star Trek”), activist, and social media icon.

Special ticket prices are available: $55 for AALDEF members, $60 for non-members, and $40 for students. Reservations are final only after payment has been received. We have a limited number of tickets, and please note: we cannot provide ticket refunds or exchanges.
