Helen Wan, attorney and author, will read from her new book, The Partner Track, about an Asian American woman about to make partner at a large law firm and the impact of race, gender, and class. Join us for an evening of sharing stories about navigating the legal jungle as an Asian American. We will talk about inclusion, diversity and the ups and downs Asian American lawyers face, from working in nonprofits, public office, private practice, or climbing the corporate ladder.

About the Author:

Helen Wan is Associate General Counsel at the Time Inc. division of Time Warner Inc. Before that, she practiced corporate and media law at law firms in New York. Born in California and raised near Washington, D.C., Wan is a graduate of Amherst College and the University of Virginia School of Law. Her essays and reviews of fiction have been published in “The Washington Post” and elsewhere.
