Patricia Yan focuses on voting rights and redistricting work, as well as coordinating and training volunteers for AALDEF’s Asian American Election Monitoring and Exit Poll Project. Before joining AALDEF, Patricia was a litigation associate at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP. She has previously represented clients in immigration, trafficking, and unemployment matters. Patricia is a graduate of Duke University School of Law, where she was a member of the Duke Law Journal, and has a B.A. in International Studies from Washington University in St. Louis.
