Marlena is a recent transplant from Anaheim, California. Before moving to New York, she worked as a District Representative for California State Senator Tom Umberg. Since 2020, she has served as the President of the National Women’s Political Caucus of Orange County, which endorses and elects progressive, pro-choice women to elected and appointed office. Marlena is a graduate from the University of California, Irvine with a B.A in History and a minor in Political Science.
