Jane Shim
Director, Stop Asian Hate Project
Jane supports Asian American communities on issues of state and interpersonal violence and works to address their root causes. Previously, as an attorney at the Immigrant Defense Project, Jane worked on state and federal advocacy campaigns to fight the criminalization of immigrants, challenge policing practices in immigrant and low-income communities, and support noncitizens in prison. Before that, she was a litigation associate at WilmerHale. Jane is a graduate of Yale Law School, where she was a member of the Worker and Immigrant Rights Advocacy and Legal Services for Immigrant Communities clinics. She is a former Fulbright Scholar in poetry.
