According to exit polls in eight states by the Asian American Legal Defense and
Education Fund, Asian Americans came out in greater-than-ever numbers in
Tuesday’s midterm elections. Their votes had significant effects on some of the
country’s closest-watched races. The probable winners in the Virginia and New
Jersey’s Senate battles, as well as several House races, owe much of their
success to their Asian constituents.
