New Emil Amok’s Takeout Podcast!

Emil Guillermo talks to San Francisco State Asian American Studies chair Russell Jeung about the numbers of Asian Americans who have come forward to describe stabbings, hateful name calling, and even people spitting and coughing on them. Almost 100 reports have come in daily since March 19. Women are three times more likely to report harassment than men; 61 percent of the cases are non-Chinese. Two-thirds of all reports involved verbal harassment.
